I needed this quote. My sis and her husband are divorcing after decades together. Ten years ago she planted a tree and made a memorial garden after the death of my mother. Sadly, I have not been to Indiana to visit so have not seen it. She is leaving the home behind and I've been feeling really down about my mom's memorial being in his care/lack of care. Thinking of it as something that isn't there has been healing for me. Thank you.
